Orlando Simoneli created his first espresso coffee machine in Cessapalombo, Italy. He named it ‘1936’ after the year of its construction. For that time, it was already an innovative and technically advanced device. The company was later renamed to Nuova Simonelli, but still remains a pioneer in espresso equipment.
